Hitachi Energy Sweden AB is hiring a Network and Cybersecurity Engineer to deliver high-quality, cost-efficient engineering solutions for our customers. In this role, you will focus on designing, implementing, testing, and deploying network and cybersecurity controls for Control Systems, ensuring operational reliability and security.

What You'll Do

• Assess network and cybersecurity requirements outlined in customers’ technical specifications.
• Align with clients and internal teams to realize specific requirements for the Control System delivery.
• Design, implement, test, and deploy the network and cyber security controls for the Control System.
• Participate in Factory and Site Acceptance Tests for customer witnessing.
• Provide hands-on support for GPS clocks, routers, firewalls, switches, servers, and SCADA communication systems.
• Develop and enforce System Hardening policies, procedures, and best practices in compliance with standards like IEC62443, NERC CIP, and NIST.
• Support the preparation and delivery of Project Documentation to the customer.
• Support network and cybersecurity activities and evidence collection during Commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.

What We're Looking For

• A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, particularly Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, OT systems, or an equivalent field.
• 5+ years of experience in OT networking and cybersecurity roles.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTPS, Radius, LDAP) and network architecture.
• Proficiency with various network hardware and software vendors like Cisco, Hirschmann, Palo Alto Networks, Fortinet, Meinberg, and SEL.
• Good experience in Windows Operating Systems.
• Awareness of commonly used security tools like IDS, IPS, NESSUS, CIS CAT, Nmap, McAfee ePO, and Syslog manager.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose and resolve complex network and security issues.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in both spoken and written English.

Nice to Have

• Relevant certifications such as CCNA or similar.
