Bilfinger is seeking an NDT Support Technician to provide essential operational and field support. This hands-on role is key to ensuring the readiness and effective delivery of onsite inspection activities across our NDT Technical Department and operations teams.
What You'll Do
- Provide day-to-day operational support across the NDT Technical Department, Advanced NDT operations, and general NDT operations teams.
- Support NDT and Advanced NDT fieldwork as a scanner technician or field assistant under the direction of qualified personnel.
- Assist with the mobilisation and demobilisation of NDT and ANDT equipment for onshore and offshore projects.
- Support stores coordination, including stock control, consumable management, and equipment pack preparation.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts for stores, equipment workflows, and operational processes.
- Assist the technical team with R&D work, including setups, test piece preparation, and basic data collection.
- Support internal and external training by preparing equipment, materials, and demonstration setups.
- Carry out routine maintenance, cleaning, and functional checks on NDT/ANDT equipment.
