About the Role

Kraus-Anderson is hiring a National Director to spearhead our business development and project planning efforts within the Healthcare market sector. You will lead the execution of go-to-market strategies across all offices, collaborating with leaders to drive profitable financial growth and ensure exceptional project delivery for our healthcare clients.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and implement comprehensive go-to-market strategies for the healthcare market sector.
  • Stay abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities to ensure our services remain competitive and innovative.
  • Support the development of business development, project planning, and project management leaders through mentoring and empowerment.
  • Provide guidance, training, and resources necessary for professional growth while fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to establish uniform processes, methodologies, and best practices for delivering construction services to Healthcare clients.
  • Assist in developing and managing the annual marketing budget for healthcare and develop annual sales goals.
  • Develop and execute strategies to achieve profitable growth targets, including effective cost management, resource allocation, and revenue enhancement.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their unique needs and ensuring our services exceed expectations.
  • Actively seek opportunities for new business development and expansion within the Healthcare sector.
  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership, business development teams, and other regional market sector directors to share insights and align strategies.
  • Regularly analyze key performance indicators, financial metrics, and project outcomes to identify areas for improvement and make data-driven decisions.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Business Development, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of at least 10 years in senior leadership roles within the construction industry, with a focus on project planning and development.
  • Strong understanding of the Healthcare market sector, its dynamics, and specific project requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of construction team roles and construction project management.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective business strategies.
  • Financial acumen and a demonstrated ability to drive profitable growth.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to use time productively, maximize efficiency and meet challenging work goals.
  • Ability to maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
  • Exceptional work ethic and a commitment to upholding company values and demanding the highest standard of conduct.

Team & Environment

You will collaborate with all office leaders, business development teams, DOOs, and Construction Executives. The role involves working within cross-functional teams to establish best practices and align strategies.

Benefits & Compensation

  • Compensation: $150,000 to $200,000 annually
  • Company vehicle

Work Mode

This is an onsite position. The role is based across all Kraus-Anderson Construction Company offices, including metro and non-metro locations, and other future markets.
