At Sanofi, we pursue progress and discover extraordinary medicines to improve patient lives. We are looking for a QC Technician to join our Manufacturing & Supply business unit in Beijing, China. In this role, you will be responsible for performing analytical testing in a GMP laboratory environment, maintaining equipment and data systems, and actively supporting quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
What You'll Do
- Carry out QC analyses for samples of semi-finished products, finished products, API, excipients, packaging material, cleaning validation/verification, and pharmaceutical water in compliance with analytical methods, protocols, and specifications.
- Perform sampling of raw materials, active ingredients, packaging materials, imported bulks, cleaning validation/verification, and pharmaceutical water.
- Maintain lab-related SAP data and ensure analyses are carried out in a timely manner.
- Execute laboratory investigations and quality assessments.
- Maintain the availability of test equipment with suppliers and maintenance technicians, and perform scheduled maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Draft or assist in drafting work-related SOPs, testing record templates, and qualification protocols/reports for analytical instruments and methods, and perform qualification work.
- Print and manage lab-related logbooks.
- Assist in GAP analyses between global requirements and local authority standards.
- Manage inventory of reagents, columns, reference standards, and other testing consumables, and manage archives of columns.
- Provide technical support for official testing.
- Perform activities related to Medical Devices according to current Good Supply Practice (GSP) regulations.
- Take assigned 5S responsibilities and engage in lab continuous improvement for technical and management purposes.
- Advocate and execute the SMS concept and practice.
- Proactively respond to HSE management to prevent accidents and provide related feedback.
- Participate in energy-saving initiatives, support development of energy-saving projects, and participate in internal audits of the energy management system.
What We're Looking For
- Pharmacy GMP laboratory working experience.
- Good knowledge of Chinese and international GMP.
- Good knowledge of data integrity (DI) requirements.
- Education in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmacy, microbiology, or a related discipline.
- Good English writing, reading, listening, and speaking skills.
