Heidi Health is seeking a Motion Designer to create, maintain, and expand our motion design systems across multiple platforms. This mid-weight role combines responsibility and autonomy, perfect for someone highly skilled in motion, systems-oriented, and capable of delivering high-quality work in both 2D and 3D formats.
What You'll Do
- Design and build motion systems for use across product, marketing, and brand.
- Develop reusable motion libraries and templates that support consistency.
- Work closely with designers, engineers, and marketing to ensure smooth integration.
- Deliver animations and motion graphics in both 2D and 3D environments.
- Contribute to the evolution of Heidi’s design system with motion as a key component.
- Document motion standards and workflows to support team adoption.
- Stay current with tools and platforms and identify opportunities for improvement or innovation.
What We're Looking For
- 3 to 5 years of experience in motion design, preferably across brand and product.
- Proficiency in After Effects, Cavalry, or similar motion design tools.
- Experience with 3D tools such as Blender or Cinema 4D.
- Understanding of motion systems and ability to create scalable, consistent assets.
- Strong foundation in animation principles, timing, and visual hierarchy.
- Ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Willingness to work across disciplines and adapt to new tools and formats.
Nice to Have
- Experience with interactive or real-time environments, including web animation or game engines.
