Model N is seeking a Senior Director of FP&A to provide strategic financial leadership. You will be responsible for driving the financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis that supports the company’s growth and operational goals.
What You'll Do
- Lead the company’s annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, and long-range strategic planning processes.
- Develop and deliver insightful financial analysis, reporting, and presentations to senior leadership and the board.
- Drive financial modeling to support strategic initiatives, investment decisions, and business performance evaluation.
- Partner closely with department heads across the organization to provide financial guidance and operational insights.
- Establish and enhance FP&A processes, systems, and tools to improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
- Lead and mentor a team of financial analysts, fostering their professional development.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of progressive experience in financial planning & analysis, with 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of leading the FP&A function for a public company or a high-growth private company.
- Expert-level proficiency in financial modeling, analysis, and corporate finance principles.
- Deep experience with enterprise financial systems (e.g., ERP, EPM) and advanced Excel/Google Sheets.
- Strong executive presence with excellent communication skills, capable of influencing at the C-suite and board level.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the SaaS or enterprise software industry.
- Background in a global, multi-currency business environment.
- Experience with system implementations and process automation within FP&A.
