As a Mobile Veterinarian, you’ll deliver in-home euthanasia, hospice, and palliative care to aging or seriously ill pets, prioritizing peace, comfort, and emotional support for both animals and their people. Operating independently but never isolated, you’ll be backed by a responsive medical leadership team, dedicated care coordinators, and streamlined logistics that let you focus entirely on the quality of each visit.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct in-home visits with a gentle, Fear Free–informed approach, ensuring pets remain calm and families feel heard
- Guide pet owners through difficult end-of-life decisions with empathy and clarity
- Deliver compassionate care with dignity, maintaining thorough and timely medical records
- Collaborate with internal clinical teams and local veterinary partners to ensure continuity of care
- Engage in ongoing education and professional development opportunities
- Build trust within the community by representing a trusted, values-driven practice
What You Bring
- DVM, VMD, or equivalent degree from an accredited institution
- Current veterinary license or eligibility to obtain one in Michigan
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to safely manage physical demands, including lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Flexibility to work weekends on a rotating basis
- Commitment to compassionate, client-centered care
Preferred Experience
- Background in palliative or hospice medicine
- Fear Free certification or related training
