Medsien is looking for a Mobile QA Engineer / Software Test Engineer to join our team and play a key role in delivering a high-quality mobile application. You will own the testing efforts for our new mobile product while occasionally supporting web application initiatives as we work to reimagine remote care management.
What You'll Do
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for iOS and Android applications.
- Build and maintain automated test suites using Appium.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
- Identify, document, and track defects to resolution.
- Perform functional, regression, performance, and usability testing.
- Contribute to web application testing efforts when needed.
- Continuously improve testing processes and advocate for quality best practices.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in mobile application testing (iOS and Android).
- Experience working in a dynamic, agile environment with minimal supervision.
- Experience with mobile test automation frameworks (Appium or similar).
- Solid understanding of mobile testing frameworks, tools, and methodologies.
- Experience with bug tracking and test management tools (Jira).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.
- Familiarity with Gen-AI and AI-assisted testing tools.
- A creative and driven mindset with experience navigating through ambiguity and a desire to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- Perfect English skills; both written and oral.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, or a related field of study.
- Proven experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Residence in Istanbul city center.
