JLL is hiring a Mobile Engineer responsible for operating, inspecting, and maintaining all HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment in assigned facilities. This hands-on role ensures the most efficient operation and life expectancy of critical building systems.
What You'll Do
- Perform ongoing preventive and repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems.
- Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution, plumbing systems, and building interiors/exteriors.
- Conduct facility inspections and due diligence efforts, reporting conditions that impact client occupancy.
- Respond effectively to all emergencies.
- Prepare and submit summary reports on conditions found with recommended actions.
- Become proficient with required equipment, including building automation and fire/life safety systems.
- Comply with all safety procedures and maintain good housekeeping.
- Maintain compliance with State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, and Laws.
- Support after-hours building activities as required and attend periodic training seminars.
- Complete other assigned operational tasks typical of the Mobile Engineer role.
What We're Looking For
- Valid state driver’s license.
- Universal CFC recovery certification.
- Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in all aspects of building engineering.
- Strong background in the technical aspects of HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical equipment repair, maintenance, and overall system design.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs and climb up to 30 ft ladders.
- Must pass background, drug/alcohol, and MVR screening.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Work Mode
This is a local-city role requiring on-site work at facilities in Cocoa, FL, Melbourne, FL, and Titusville, FL.
