The Mobile Building Engineer maintains and repairs building systems including mechanical, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, fire safety, and control systems. The role ensures adherence to safety standards, supports preventive maintenance programs, and upholds organizational values in daily operations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on mechanical, plumbing, structural, furniture, fire, life safety, and control systems.
- Ensure facility systems meet applicable performance and safety standards as directed.
- Follow all relevant codes, regulations, government requirements, and company policies related to building operations and workplace safety.
- Support the development and execution of preventive maintenance programs to extend equipment lifespan.
- Respond to and perform emergency repairs when necessary.
- Adhere to departmental procedures for handling, storing, and disposing of hazardous materials safely.
- Promote a clean and safe working environment.
- Inspect building systems such as fire alarms, HVAC, and plumbing to verify they operate within design parameters and meet client environmental requirements.
- Apply thorough understanding of standard engineering principles and techniques to complete complex tasks and develop effective solutions.
