Leidos is looking for a Mobile Application Developer to provide hands-on technical expertise on a mission-critical program supporting DHS/CBP systems. You will work collaboratively to architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available, scalable, real-time systems. What You'll Do

Provide technical expertise on a mission-critical program focused on developing, modernizing, enhancing, operating, and maintaining services for DHS/CBP systems.
Work collaboratively to architect, design, build, deliver, and enhance highly available, scalable, real-time systems.
Determine and recommend the best designs based on customer business objectives, timelines, and resource constraints.
Participate in and/or direct major deliverables through all aspects of the software development lifecycle, including scope estimation, architecture, design, coding, and unit testing.
Provide technical troubleshooting to support application issues and apply preventative measures.

What We're Looking For

BS/BA degree and 12 years of prior relevant experience or Master’s with 10 years of prior relevant experience; or 4 years of additional experience in lieu of degree.
At least 5 years experience with Mobile Application Development, with experience in both Android & iOS.
Experience in both Front-end Mobile and Back-end RESTFUL API development.
Experience in development of JAVA and Node JS applications.
Experience with both NoSQL and SQL databases.
Strong application testing discipline.
Creative thinker with knowledge of software design patterns.
Experience with an issue/problem tracking system (e.g., Jira).
Proficiency with common Agile practices, service-oriented environments, and better development practices.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience with DevOps frameworks.
U.S. Citizen with the ability to maintain and obtain a CBP Background Investigation prior to start.

Nice to Have

Experience with Google’s Flutter engine and Google’s Dart language or similar Android/iOS frameworks.
Active CBP BI.
Experience with CBP.
AWS Experience.
Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
Experience with other mobile frameworks.
