Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary Money Laundering Reporting Officer for France
- Ensure compliance with national and European financial regulations
- Monitor transactions for suspicious activity
- Lead internal investigations related to financial crime
- File required reports with regulatory authorities
- Develop and update anti-money laundering policies
- Conduct regular risk assessments
- Collaborate with legal and compliance departments
- Support audit processes and regulatory inspections
- Train staff on AML procedures and obligations
- Maintain accurate records of reporting activities
- Evaluate customer due diligence processes
- Oversee enhanced due diligence for high-risk clients
- Work with external partners on compliance matters
- Stay current with regulatory changes
- Advise management on compliance risks
- Implement corrective actions when needed
- Coordinate with international teams on group-wide standards
- Ensure data protection compliance in reporting
- Manage relationships with law enforcement when required
- Support the development of compliance monitoring tools
- Promote a culture of compliance across departments
- Report directly to senior compliance leadership
- Maintain independence in reporting function
- Escalate critical issues to executive management
