Dayforce is hiring a Senior ML Developer to join the Dayforce Labs team, which is responsible for developing AI solutions within the company. You will have the opportunity to work on high-visibility products and contribute across the entire software lifecycle, from design and prototyping to development, testing, and support.
What You'll Do
- Lead the iterative development, validation, and deployment of AI/ML models.
- Collaborate on end-to-end automation efforts required to bring models to production.
- Work with structured and unstructured raw data to design and develop innovative predictive models, metrics, and dashboards.
- Visualize and report data findings creatively in a variety of visual formats.
- Build and maintain strong engagement with key stakeholders to understand business needs.
- Contribute to the engineering process and culture.
What We're Looking For
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in Machine Learning and Data Science, specializing in classification, clustering, time series analysis, encoder-based transformer models, explainability, and optimization.
- Advanced familiarity with SQL and spark/pyspark.
- 2+ years experience and knowledge in MLOps, deploying, operationalizing, maintaining, and monitoring scalable AI/ML solutions in production.
- Advanced proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, MLFlow) and libraries commonly used in NLP and Generative AI.
- Advanced proficiency in data cleaning and data transformation.
- Proven ability to debug, analyze, and profile existing code.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in English is required.
Nice to Have
- Experience with infrastructure design and deployment utilizing Azure cloud offerings for data pipelines (Azure SQL, Function/Logic Apps, Key Vault, Storage Accounts, Virtual Machines, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
- Experience with Databricks.
