Holcim is seeking a Mining Drilling Supervisor for a permanent role in Marseille. Your mission is to be a key player in operational performance by optimizing production, leading a team, and driving innovation within our quarrying operations. You will be responsible for ensuring material availability and cost-effective blasting activities.
What You'll Do
- Manage and lead a team of drilling and blasting personnel across multiple sites.
- Drive production, ensuring the availability of materials at the best cost.
- Guarantee operational excellence by optimizing blasting parameters and establishing strong performance indicators.
- Ensure the safety of all personnel by applying and enforcing daily health and safety procedures.
- Manage workshop budgets and ensure compliance as part of a continuous improvement process.
- Actively participate in project management, including evaluating needs for new equipment and helping with its selection.
What We're Looking For
- A Bac+5 degree from an engineering school, specializing in Mining, Geology, or an equivalent field.
- Significant previous experience in drilling and blasting operations.
- Strong team management skills, with a keen sense of leadership and communication.
- Mastery of safety regulations and procedures related to blasting and quarry operations.
- Ability to analyze, optimize, and resolve technical problems.
