Job Description: This job refers to our Real Estate brands, Homegate and Immoscout24, the largest real estate portals in Switzerland, with more than 15 million visits per month and more than 100,000 listings. We provide all users looking for a property with a transparent overview of the entire range of listings without them having to tediously visit different platforms. In addition to great products such as the mortgage or price calculator, we also offer editorial articles on topics such as housing and financing.We are looking for an iOS Engineer who is passionate about mobile development and eager to work on high-quality iOS and/or Android platforms. As a key contributor to our mobile engineering team, you will focus on delivering clean, efficient, and reliable code, working closely with other engineers, designers, and product managers. This role is ideal for an engineer looking to deepen their Android expertise and contribute to complex projects in a supportive environment.Join our dynamic team, located in six countries (Switzerland, Serbia, Vietnam, France, Germany, and India), where creativity thrives. This involves integrating with backend services, optimizing performance, and ensuring a seamless user experience.Quality assurance support: Assist in developing testing frameworks and conducting tests to ensure the app meets our rigorous quality standards. Work closely with QA teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues.User feedback integration: Monitor user feedback and app performance metrics to identify areas for improvement. Contribute to the iteration of app features and enhancements based on user data and feedback.Collaborative development: Work within a cross-functional team, contributing to the brainstorming of ideas, solving complex challenges, and sharing knowledge and insights to drive project success.Continuous learning: Stay aligned with the latest developments in mobile app technologies and practices. Qualifications: What will you bring to the ride?Communication: Fluency in English written and verbal communication; able to explain technical challenges and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.Foundation: 4+ years of experience in iOS application development with a proven track record of delivering high-quality applications and a strong understanding of mobile architecture, lifecycle, and UI elements.Core Stack: Proficient in Swift for core application logic with SwiftUI for building responsive, state-driven interfaces.Integration: Experienced with RESTful APIs, Git, and performance/memory tuning.Ownership: Ability to drive projects independently in an agile environment.Teamwork: Excellent collaboration skills for working in cross-functional teams.Mindset: Proactive in problem solving, efficient at prioritizing workload and meeting deadlines, passionate about technology, eager to learn, and driven to contribute to a dynamic and creative team.We value the skills you bring and your ability to learn quickly, so don’t worry if your career path has been unique.
