About the Role
We are seeking an experienced engineer to own and advance our iOS application, working closely with design and backend teams to deliver seamless, high-performance user experiences while maintaining strong code quality and architectural integrity.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of a core iOS application
- Collaborate with product and design teams to define feature specifications
- Architect scalable and maintainable code structures for long-term growth
- Mentor junior engineers through code reviews and technical guidance
- Optimize app performance and responsiveness across devices
- Ensure compliance with platform-specific design guidelines
- Diagnose and resolve critical production issues swiftly
- Implement robust testing practices including unit and UI tests
- Integrate with backend services using RESTful APIs
- Stay current with evolving iOS frameworks and tools
- Contribute to technical roadmap planning and prioritization
- Enforce secure coding practices and data protection standards
- Support app store deployment and release management
- Evaluate third-party libraries for fit and reliability
- Refactor legacy components to improve stability and readability
- Drive adoption of modern development practices within the team
- Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies
- Translate user needs into technical implementation strategies
- Monitor application health using analytics and crash reporting tools
- Balance innovation with technical debt management
