Responsibilities
- Engage directly with stakeholders across Flodesk to deeply understand business needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.
- Optimize SQL queries to handle multi-billion-record datasets with complex business rules efficiently.
- Work closely with our Data Engineers to maintain and improve ELT pipelines, ensuring high data quality, accuracy, and freshness.
- Maintain and enhance Holistics, our BI platform, to empower business users with intuitive dashboards and exploratory tools.
- Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to continuously refine and expand self-service analytics capabilities.
- Analyze and interpret user behavior, product usage, and business performance to uncover opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
- Practical experience with Root Cause Analysis to diagnose business problems and propose actionable solutions.
- Advanced SQL Expertise: Proficiency in query optimization for large-scale datasets (billions of records).
- Ability to design accurate and efficient data models with complex business logic.
- Solid experience in designing dashboards and reports that provide clear, impactful insights for business users.
- Exceptional communication skills in both written and verbal English.
- Be a critical thinker and a proactive problem-solver - someone who doesn’t just analyze numbers but asks the right questions and drives meaningful change.
Nice to Have
- Working knowledge of Python and data transformation tools like DBT and Airflows
