Tietoevry is seeking a Middle C/C++ RAN Telecom SW Engineer to contribute to the development and maintenance of software features for telecom components used in 5G systems. You will be responsible for software specification, implementation, integration, testing, and CI development within your technical area.

What You'll Do

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of software features within your technical area.
• Be responsible for software specification, implementation, integration, testing, and CI development.
• Actively participate in designing and maintaining telecom software components used in 5G systems.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in C/C++ for embedded network applications.
• Good understanding of 5G architecture and protocols.
• Familiarity with 3GPP specifications.
• Understanding of embedded systems running on Linux or RTOS.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical and debugging skills.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and Gerrit.
• Experience using build automation tools like CMake.

Nice to Have

• BSc/MSc/PhD in Telecommunications or Computer Science.
• Experience with Python for automation and test scripting.
• Competence in MATLAB or equivalent simulation tools.
• Hands-on experience with Wireshark or QXDM.
• English proficiency at Upper-Intermediate level or higher.
