About the Role
The role involves analyzing space and counterspace threats, interpreting technical data, and producing assessments to support national security objectives. The candidate will work with government stakeholders and technical teams to deliver timely intelligence products.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate space-based threats and adversarial counterspace capabilities
- Produce technical assessments on foreign space programs and technologies
- Monitor developments in orbital operations and space domain awareness
- Support mission planning for space control initiatives
- Analyze telemetry, tracking, and command data from space assets
- Identify potential vulnerabilities in satellite communications and systems
- Develop reports on space situational awareness trends
- Collaborate with intelligence analysts on cross-domain threats
- Maintain current knowledge of international space policies and doctrines
- Contribute to modeling and simulation of space engagement scenarios
- Assist in the validation of space sensor data and collection methods
- Participate in operational planning for space defense initiatives
- Translate technical findings into actionable intelligence products
- Support exercises and wargaming related to space conflict
- Ensure compliance with classification and handling protocols for sensitive data
Nice to Have
- Master’s degree in a relevant technical or policy field
- Experience with space command and control systems
- Familiarity with RF signal analysis for satellite tracking
- Knowledge of space launch systems and deployment profiles
- Prior work in a government or defense space analysis role
- Understanding of space treaty limitations and legal frameworks
- Experience with space weather impacts on operations
- Proficiency in data visualization tools for space data
- Background in cyber-physical systems related to satellites

Security Requirements
