Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Execute manual and automated tests across multiple environments
- Identify, document, and track software defects
- Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues
- Ensure software meets functional and non-functional requirements
- Conduct regression testing to verify bug fixes
- Validate user stories against acceptance criteria
- Improve test coverage for critical application features
- Support continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies
- Review requirements for testability and clarity
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge cases
- Monitor production behavior and assist in root cause analysis
- Contribute to QA process improvements
- Mentor junior QA team members
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and best practices
- Validate API responses and integration points
- Test responsive design and cross-browser compatibility
- Assess performance and scalability under load
- Verify security controls and data integrity
- Maintain documentation for test procedures
- Use version control systems for test assets
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD workflows
- Stay current with evolving QA tools and methodologies
- Provide timely status updates on testing progress
