Transreport Limited is looking for a Mid-Senior QA Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will own manual quality and release confidence for our Passenger Assistance platform, which is used in live rail operations across the UK and globally. You'll ensure the quality of our web and mobile applications, working to deliver a reliable and consistent experience for our users.
What You'll Do
- Execute and manage the manual testing lifecycle for web (Vue.js/Rails) and mobile (Native Swift/Kotlin) applications.
- Participate in design and requirements sessions to clarify acceptance criteria before development begins.
- Maintain and expand the TestRail repository, deciding what requires manual testing versus automation.
- Act as the final gatekeeper for releases, conducting thorough smoke tests and regression passes.
- Verify consistency and data synchronization between the web dashboard and mobile applications.
What We're Looking For
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in manual QA for web and mobile applications.
- A process mindset with demonstrable experience improving QA workflows.
- Comfortable context switching between legacy and greenfield or scaling projects.
- Mobile proficiency, understanding the differences between iOS and Android testing and mobile-specific constraints.
Nice to Have
- Experience in the Government, Public Transport, or Logistics sectors.
- Experience testing SaaS platforms with complex user permission models.
