Boeing Australia is hiring a Mid-Level System Administrator

The Boeing Company is hiring a Mid-Level System Administrator to join the team supporting the Apache program's Training Systems environment. You will be responsible for building, optimizing, and securing technology, including installing, configuring, and maintaining multi-platform systems.

What You'll Do

• Install, configure and help maintain multi-platform (i.e. Windows, Linux) systems hardware, software and components
• Perform the troubleshooting and restoration of routine service operations (backups/restores, networking, and domain-related functions)
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, security, operations, and product teams, to ensure security is embedded in all phases of the application lifecycle
• Integrate and configure security solutions (McAfee, Splunk, HBSS) into information systems
• Participate in the planning and execution of upgrades and patches for operating systems and software
• Participate in developing training guides, knowledge management articles, and processes and procedures
• Automate tasks utilizing Bash, PowerShell, and/or other platforms

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience supporting Windows operating systems (Windows 10/ server 2012 or greater)
• 3+ years of experience using PowerShell, Bash, and Python
• 3+ years of experience with maintaining and configuring Active Directory (AD)
• 1+ years of experience with Ansible, Chef, or other automation/configuration management tools

Nice to Have

• 1+ years of experience with Linux Operating Systems - RHEL 7 and newer
• Experience with VMware or other virtualization technologies
• Experience with McAfee ePO configuration and management
• Experience with networking fundamentals
