Motorola Solutions is hiring a Mid-Level Software Engineer, Customer Solutions (C#/.NET). In this role on our Forward Deployed Engineering team, you will ensure success for our public safety customers by solving complex problems through hands-on troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and software development.
What You'll Do
- Work closely with customers, customer support, and the broader engineering team to improve the functionality and performance of the PremierOne CAD and Mobile products.
- Solve complex customer problems by replicating scenarios, performing hands-on troubleshooting, and analyzing software and systems to determine root cause.
- Develop software solutions.
What We're Looking For
- BS in Computer Science or a related technical equivalent.
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- Advanced proficiency in English.
Nice to Have
- Proficiency developing C#/.NET applications in Visual Studio.
- Strong understanding of Object-Oriented software design, Client-server and Service Oriented Architectures.
- Experience developing applications utilizing Microsoft SQL Server databases.
- Experience with UI programming in C#/.NET.
- Experience with Git.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to juggle priorities and tasks with project follow-through.
