MDCalc is looking for a Mid Level Full Stack Engineer to contribute as an integral member of our development team, helping deliver high-quality software products. This role is critical to our continued success in supporting millions of clinical users worldwide.

What You'll Do

Take ownership of your work and see projects through to completion.
Collaborate closely with both technical and non-technical teammates to ensure timely delivery of features and fixes.
Participate in architecture and design discussions, offering input that supports system scalability and performance.
Follow and promote software engineering best practices including code reviews, testing, documentation, and adherence to code quality standards.

What We're Looking For

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
Proficiency in React, React Native, NextJS, Express, and Postgres with experience building scalable, distributed systems and web applications.
Experience with Consumer/Public Websites, Mobile Applications, Amazon AWS.
Experience with Terraform, Go, Docker, and BitBucket.
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across teams and dive into the details when needed.
Solid understanding of software engineering principles and system architecture concepts, with the ability to contribute to refining product specs and tickets.
Curiosity and willingness to grow within the role.
