MyFlorida's Department of Management Services seeks a Medical/Health Care Program Analyst to help shape the quality of health care in Florida. This OPS role within the Bureau of Medicaid Recipient and Provider Assistance (RPA) enhances healthcare delivery through the Florida Medicaid Program in a fast-paced, team-based environment.
What You'll Do
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Florida Medicaid program, including federal regulations, state statutes, administrative rules, the Medicaid State Plan, and program manuals.
- Stay informed about Agency for Health Care Administration regulations, program manuals, and Medicaid-related activities.
- Monitor the operations of the Medicaid Enrollment Broker, including plan enrollment and eligibility rules.
- Understand the operations of the Medicaid fiscal agent and how changes impact Enrollment Broker activities.
- Evaluate contractor management and operations reports for compliance with production schedules, levels, and efficient processing.
- Review and monitor assigned Medicaid Enrollment Broker Vendor operations to provide management with essential performance information.
- Perform research and resolution activities related to Enrollment Broker Medicaid Recipient enrollment processing to determine contract compliance.
- Research and report recipient-related enrollment issues, document error trends, and assist with monitoring or implementing resolutions.
- Assist in the development, review, and approval of vendor operational procedures to assure contract compliance.
- Support and participate in Enrollment Broker Quality Assurance monitoring.
- Conduct periodic state travel for program monitoring.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
