Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation is hiring a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) for the Cardiovascular Denver territory. This is a field-based, non-promotional role where you will engage scientifically with Healthcare Providers and medical experts to advance clinical practice and improve patient outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Leverage scientific expertise to build professional relationships with HCPs and thought leaders aligned with medical strategy.
- Engage with customers on emerging data, clinical trial activities, market dynamics, unmet medical needs, and pipeline discussions.
- Demonstrate strategic territory vision by identifying, mapping, and planning Medical Engagements and Key Accounts.
- Provide clinical trial support for company-sponsored trials, including site identification and subject recruitment.
- Collaborate with internal colleagues such as HEOR, access, marketing, and commercial teams.
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of the cardiovascular therapeutic area and Novartis compounds.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant medical affairs, clinical research, or related scientific/clinical experience.
- Strong clinical knowledge including pharmacotherapy, treatment guidelines, clinical research processes, and expert engagement strategies.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to navigate the complex healthcare landscape.
- Strong personal integrity, teamwork abilities, and a customer focus.
- Ability to prioritize, work with agility, and adapt to a constantly changing environment.
- Ability to gain medical insights and uncover business opportunities aligned with strategy.
- A graduate degree in science or healthcare is required.
Nice to Have
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Field Medical-based role or as an MSL.
- Previous experience in the cardiovascular therapeutic area.
- A doctoral degree (MD, PhD, or PharmD).

This is a field-based role involving significant collaboration with internal colleagues across functions such as HEOR, access, marketing, and commercial.

- Compensation range: $163,300 - $297,700 per year.

Work Mode
