Better Life Partners is hiring a Medical Provider to join our team serving patients in Maine. In this role, you will provide essential medical care and support to individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders, working within our mission-driven organization dedicated to making recovery accessible.
What You'll Do
- Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
- Manage medications for substance use disorders, including buprenorphine and other medications.
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered care in an outpatient setting.
- Collaborate with an integrated team of behavioral health specialists and care coordinators.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
What We're Looking For
- Valid medical license (MD, DO, NP, or PA) to practice in the state of Maine.
- Active DEA registration with appropriate X-waiver or willingness to obtain.
- Experience in addiction medicine, psychiatry, primary care, or a related field.
- Strong clinical assessment and medication management skills.
- Commitment to providing equitable, stigma-free care.
