Baptist Health seeks a Medical Laboratory Scientist to deliver timely and precise laboratory services. You will be a key contributor at Baptist Medical Center East, providing essential data for patient care.
What You'll Do
- Provide timely and courteous service to patients, physicians, and hospital staff by performing laboratory analyses accurately and efficiently.
- Detect unusual conditions and assume responsibility for problem solving.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in a chemical, biological, or clinical/medical laboratory science.
- Clinical laboratory training culminating in national certification as defined by American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) Board of Registry.
- Active ASCP Medical Technologist (MT), ASCP Medical Lab Scientist (MLS), ASCP Microbiology, or equivalent certification.
