Limitlessli is hiring a Medical Chart Auditor specializing in Wound Care to support our US-based healthcare client. In this remote role, you will leverage your clinical expertise to ensure documentation quality and compliance, directly impacting patient care outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Perform detailed reviews of wound care documentation, including patient records, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Assess compliance with clinical guidelines, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
- Collect and analyze data related to wound care outcomes, treatment effectiveness, and patient satisfaction.
- Identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present audit reports summarizing findings, including areas of non-compliance and recommendations for corrective actions.
- Communicate audit results to healthcare providers, management, and relevant stakeholders.
- Offer constructive feedback to healthcare providers on documentation practices and wound care management.
- Develop and deliver training programs to educate staff on best practices in wound care and documentation standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented changes and make further recommendations as needed.
What We're Looking For
- Registered Nurse or an equivalent clinical qualification.
- Extensive experience in wound care management, with particular knowledge of skin substitution.
- Strong understanding of clinical guidelines, regulatory requirements, and quality improvement processes.
- Must have Point Click Care (PCC) and Sigma EMR experience.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to provide effective feedback and training to healthcare providers.
- Fluent in English—both written and verbal.
- Exceptional eye for detail.
