Denova Collaborative Health LLC is hiring a Medical Assistant to support clinical operations at our South Mountain location. You will provide essential care to patients under the direction of a medical practitioner, ensuring services are delivered in accordance with established policies and regulations.

What You'll Do

Prepare patient charts for upcoming visits, ensuring all necessary forms are completed and integrated.
Welcome patients, conduct check-ins, and escort them to examination rooms.
Perform delegated medical tasks, including recording vitals, medical history, and reasons for the visit.
Conduct visual acuity screenings as part of routine physical exams.
Administer injections and assist providers with medical procedures.
Perform blood draws, collect specimens, conduct urine drug screenings, and communicate results.
Maintain cleanliness and readiness of exam rooms between appointments, stocking supplies and disposing of expired supplies and biohazard waste.
Work collaboratively with providers to troubleshoot patient issues.

What We're Looking For

Completion of a Medical Assistant certificate or a CAAHEP-accredited program.
Must hold valid and current CPR and First Aid certifications.
Must obtain an Arizona Fingerprint Clearance card (Denova will assist upon acceptance of offer).
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Applicants must be 21 years of age or older.

Nice to Have

An associate degree in a health-related field or certification as a Medical Assistant.
At least six months of healthcare experience.
Proficiency in using electronic record-keeping systems such as EMR, billing software, insurance carrier portals, and spreadsheets.
Bilingual candidates are highly valued.
