Glen Park Senior Living is hiring a Med Tech/Caregiver to provide direct support and medication management for our residents. You will play a key role in creating a supportive, healthy, and engaging environment where seniors can thrive.
What You'll Do
- Administer medications to residents in compliance with Title 22 regulations and physician instructions.
- Monitor residents' medication records and report any errors to the Lead Medication Technician/Administrator.
- Provide assistance with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
- Ensure residents have timely access to medications by placing and tracking medication orders.
- Maintain accurate, progressive documentation and regularly communicate with physicians and medical professionals.
- Schedule and coordinate doctor's appointments for residents as needed.
- Work with medical professionals to promote resident engagement, reduce pain, and maintain independence.
- Ensure a clean and safe environment for both residents and staff.
- Stay composed and take appropriate action during emergencies.
- For residents with developmental disabilities: Align performance with the facility's Program Design.
- For residents with developmental disabilities: Complete specialized training for working with these residents.
- For residents with developmental disabilities: Achieve goals outlined in each resident's Individual Program Plan (IPP).
- For residents with developmental disabilities: Maintain detailed progress notes to track accomplishments of IPP objectives.
