GE Vernova is offering a 2-month Mechanical Engineering Internship designed to provide fresh graduates with real-world exposure to turbine engineering, safety, and quality assurance in the power generation sector. You’ll engage in hands-on projects and collaborate directly with industry professionals.

What You'll Do

Apply EHS training to ensure compliance with safety standards.
Gain insights into gas turbine systems, configurations, and power plant operations.
Work on turbine tooling systems, focusing on inventory management and consumables.
Develop a database for current tooling inventory and support physical inventory control.
Assist with BOM (Bill of Material) serialization for toolkits, reviewing components and pricing.
Learn and apply mechanical engineering fundamentals in real-world contexts like materials handling and project management.
Engage in a short project focused on tooling, mechanical systems, or data analysis.
Present findings and recommendations in a final internship evaluation and internal report.

What We're Looking For

Fresh graduate from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering.
Strong interest in power systems and gas turbine technologies.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data handling.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Willingness to learn and apply Lean and EHS principles.
Fluency in English & Arabic.
