GE Vernova is offering a 2-month Mechanical Engineering Internship designed to provide fresh graduates with real-world exposure to turbine engineering, safety, and quality assurance in the power generation sector. You’ll engage in hands-on projects and collaborate directly with industry professionals.
What You'll Do
- Apply EHS training to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Gain insights into gas turbine systems, configurations, and power plant operations.
- Work on turbine tooling systems, focusing on inventory management and consumables.
- Develop a database for current tooling inventory and support physical inventory control.
- Assist with BOM (Bill of Material) serialization for toolkits, reviewing components and pricing.
- Learn and apply mechanical engineering fundamentals in real-world contexts like materials handling and project management.
- Engage in a short project focused on tooling, mechanical systems, or data analysis.
- Present findings and recommendations in a final internship evaluation and internal report.
What We're Looking For
- Fresh graduate from a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong interest in power systems and gas turbine technologies.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel for data handling.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and apply Lean and EHS principles.
- Fluency in English & Arabic.

- Proactive and enthusiastic attitude towards engineering challenges.
- Demonstrated initiative in academic or extracurricular projects.
