ASR Group is looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our Sugar Rotational Development Program (SRDP) Engineering Track. This program is designed for recent graduates to gain professional experience in the sugar industry through on-the-job assignments, targeted training, and mentoring.
What You'll Do
- Receive a general overview of the manufacturing operations.
- Work alongside Shift Supervisor(s), Mill Process and/or Production Supervisor(s).
- Review technical reports, including Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Energy/Water reports.
- Gain knowledge of Plant Maintenance and SAP.
- Learn the Mill Fabrication Process.
- Work with mill lab samples and reports pertaining to mill fabrication.
- Be available to work rotating shifts (7am – 3pm, 3pm -11pm and 11pm – 7am) and/or weekends.
- Be able to physically work in an industrial / farming environment.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering - Industrial or Mechanical from an accredited college/university.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience.
- Legal eligibility for employment in the United States without sponsorship.
Nice to Have
- Prior related internship experience.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Understanding of Safety and Quality standards.
