Woodward is looking for a Mechanical Designer/Drafter II to join our team. In this role, you will develop precise mechanical designs using CAD software according to project specifications and industry standards, collaborating closely with engineers to ensure design integrity.
What You'll Do
- Develop precise mechanical designs and detailed drawings using CAD software in accordance with project specifications and industry standards.
- Work closely with engineers and other drafters to ensure design accuracy and address technical requirements.
- Modify existing drawings based on feedback and changes in project scope to maintain up-to-date documentation.
- Adhere to company and regulatory standards in all drafting activities to guarantee quality and consistency.
- Identify and resolve common design problems using established procedures and scientific methods to support project objectives.
What We're Looking For
- A technical associate’s degree.
- 2+ years of experience in a similar field.
- Proficiency in Windchill and/or Creo modeling and drafting.
- Must be a U.S. Person within the meaning of the ITAR and EAR, or eligible to obtain all required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State and/or the U.S. Department of Commerce.
