Wethersfield Public Schools is seeking a dedicated Math Tutor for the 2025-2026 academic year. In this role, you will serve as a Title I Math Tutor at Samuel B. Webb Elementary School, providing targeted intervention support across all grade levels (K-6) to foster student growth toward key math benchmarks.
What You'll Do
- Implement daily lesson plans for students targeting individualized support.
- Provide targeted one-on-one, small group, or push-in classroom instruction.
- Support student understanding of math concepts and development of math fluency skills.
- Track and maintain detailed records of student progress.
- Collaborate with classroom teachers to communicate goals, achievements, progress, and intervention changes.
- Foster a positive, sensitive learning environment that promotes increased math performance.
- Provide the building curriculum specialist with regular reports on student progress toward learning goals.
What We're Looking For
- A minimum of an Associates' Degree.
Nice to Have
- Elementary Teacher certification.

- Compensation: $27.18 - $32.06 per hour worked.
