Early Care & Education: Coppell is looking for a Preschool Bus Driver & STEM Lead Teacher to join our team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for leading our STEM Station Afterschool Program and driving our preschool mini bus, creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging program where young children can learn, explore, and grow.
What You'll Do
- Lead engaging lessons and activities, such as storytelling, music, arts, and discovery play, that promote whole-child development.
- Foster a nurturing classroom culture where children feel loved, valued, and supported.
- Model positive behavior while guiding classroom routines and expectations.
- Adapt instruction to meet the unique needs of each child.
- Partner with families to ensure smooth daily transitions and maintain open communication.
- Promote healthy habits like hygiene, nutrition, and self-care.
- Drive the preschool mini bus for student transportation.
What We're Looking For
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to meet all HHS and DFPS caregiver qualifications, including age, background check, medical clearance, and annual training requirements.
Nice to Have
- Previous teaching or childcare experience.
- Early Childhood Education coursework or certification.
- Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification, or a willingness to obtain it.
- A valid driver’s license if transporting children.
