We are looking for a Preschool Teacher for Toddlers to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom where young children can learn, explore, and grow. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where your creativity, compassion, and leadership will shine daily.
What You'll Do
- Lead engaging lessons and activities like storytelling, music, arts, and discovery play that promote whole-child development
- Foster a nurturing classroom culture where children feel loved, valued, and supported
- Model faith-based values and positive behavior while guiding routines and expectations
- Adapt instruction to meet the unique needs of each child
- Partner with families to ensure smooth daily transitions and open communication
- Promote healthy habits like hygiene, nutrition, and self-care
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Meets HHS and DFPS caregiver qualifications, including age, background check, medical clearance, and annual training
Nice to Have
- Previous teaching or childcare experience
- Early Childhood Education coursework or certification
- Pediatric First Aid/CPR certification, or willingness to obtain
- Valid driver’s license if transporting children
