Halliburton is hiring a Materials Control Specialist - Supply Chain

Halliburton is looking for a Materials Control Specialist to manage a critical segment of our supply chain operations from our Macaé facility. You will be responsible for leading inventory planning, executing analyses to optimize stock levels, and ensuring efficient material flow.

What You'll Do

• Lead local inventory planning meetings.
• Define and maintain Material Requirements Planning (MRP) data.
• Execute analyses to optimize inventory levels.
• Identify and reallocate obsolete inventory.
• Manage basic inventory functions for the served area, including sales order delivery and reconciliation.
• Report to PSL leadership with key metrics.
• Manage the goods issue and receipt process.
• Develop solutions to fill operational gaps.
• Interact with purchasing, logistics, and manufacturing customer service representatives to prioritize orders, monitor deadlines, and provide forecast information.
• Interface with Product Service Lines (PSL) and other support groups.
• Promote Lean and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Comply with company safety programs.
• Have direct impact and responsibility for achieving business financial goals and objectives.

What We're Looking For

• Complete graduation in Engineering, Administration, Logistics, or a related area.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Knowledge in S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) or PCP (Production Planning and Control).
• Must reside in Macaé or the surrounding region.

Nice to Have

• A four-year degree in supply chain, engineering/applied mathematics, finance/accounting, or business is preferred over a two-year course.
• Experience with inventory, warehouse management, and expediting deliveries from chemical suppliers will be a differential.

Team & Environment

You will interface closely with Product Service Lines (PSL) and other support groups, ensuring alignment across the supply chain.

Work Mode

This is an onsite position based at Av Pref Ar Fer Silva 1000, Macaé, Rio de Janeiro, 27930-070, Brazil.
