Join Nestlé as a Material Handler, where you will play a vital role in supporting our production processes. You'll be responsible for ensuring materials are available, accurate, and handled safely to keep operations running smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Load and unload raw materials, verifying batch codes and expiration dates
- Replenish materials in bins and hoppers to prevent production shortages
- Report damaged or inconsistent materials to leadership
- Wrap products manually or using a wrapping machine
- Label and verify product selection and quantity
- Perform basic housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean work area
- Enter data using paper forms, computers, or tablets
- Follow all safety rules, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and company policies
- Perform other duties as assigned
What We're Looking For
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout your shift
- Comfortable working around powders, chemicals, and food allergens
- Flexible to work overtime based on business needs
- Comfortable using computers, tablets, and digital tools
- Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Able to read, write, and understand English
- Team-oriented and dependable
Nice to Have
- High school diploma or GED
- 1–2 years of manufacturing experience
- Understanding of material handling and equipment
