Unisys Corporation is looking for a Master Tech Field Engineer to serve as a senior technical leader and subject matter expert within our Field Engineering operations. In this role, you will be instrumental in resolving complex client issues, guiding new technology implementations, and developing processes to improve service delivery.
What You'll Do
- Serve as a team or site leader, providing direction to other technicians.
- Apply specialized skillsets to support niche client environments.
- Assist with resource and task scheduling and resource management.
- Ensure a best-in-class client experience across Field Engineering operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve client escalations from team members.
- Support the roll-out of new, enhanced, or upgraded products.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical advice to help resolve difficult or unanticipated issues.
- Assist in providing technical training and improvement programs.
- Engage with dissatisfied clients to resolve perceived issues, address technically complex situations, and ensure satisfaction.
- Monitor equipment, system, and network performance, identifying and addressing systemic and recurring issues.
- Develop and recommend ways to improve frontline solution processes for enhanced client service, error reduction, and operational effectiveness.
What We're Looking For
- A High School Diploma or GED.
Nice to Have
- A technical certification or Associate Degree.
- Generally, 7+ years’ experience in the area of responsibility.
