Pro Coffee Gear is hiring a Marketplace Manager to lead the growth and performance of our product catalog across all non-Shopify marketplaces. In this role, you will define and execute strategies to expand sales, optimize product visibility, and maintain competitive positioning on platforms like Amazon, eBay, and Walmart.
What You'll Do
- Drive growth, optimization, and performance of the product catalog across non-Shopify marketplaces including Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Shopify Shops, Meta, and Pinterest.
- Define and execute strategies to grow marketplace sales, optimize product visibility, and ensure competitive pricing and promotions.
- Use data-driven insights to optimize listings, monitor competitive positioning, and maintain brand consistency.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new products for marketplace sales.
- Monitor competitor activity and adjust pricing, promotions, and product offerings accordingly.
- Create, manage, and optimize promotional campaigns across marketplaces.
- Streamline marketplace operations, from product onboarding and listing creation to pricing updates and promotions.
- Implement automated tools and processes to increase operational efficiency.
What We're Looking For
- 4–8+ years in website or merchandising management.
- Extensive experience managing product catalogs and optimizing listings on major marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, and Walmart.
- Knowledge of platform-specific requirements, algorithms, and best practices for creating high-converting listings.
- Strong understanding of pricing strategies, margin analysis, and profitability assessment.
- Proficiency in using data analytics tools and marketplace performance dashboards to track sales, conversions, and market trends.
- Strong analytical mindset, using performance data to drive decision-making.
- Knowledge of industry trends and competitor strategies.
- Experience in creating, managing, and optimizing promotional campaigns.
- Understanding of how to structure discounts and deals to maximize revenue while protecting margins.
- Strong knowledge of SEO best practices specific to marketplaces.
- Ability to optimize product titles, descriptions, images, and keywords to improve visibility and search ranking.
- Ability to streamline operations and implement automated tools.
- Strategic thinking and ability to define marketplace growth strategies, set clear KPIs, and adjust plans based on insights.
- Effective at collaborating with the Merchandising Manager, Marketing, and Operations teams.
- Expertise in maintaining brand consistency while optimizing for competitive positioning.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects.
- Proactively identifies opportunities to streamline workflows.
- Clear communication skills to present performance, strategies, and market insights to leadership and stakeholders.
