At UCB, inspired by patients and driven by science, we are hiring a Marketing Lead HS Europe. This senior regional marketing role carries end-to-end accountability for translating global strategy into impactful execution across Europe for Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS). We are looking for a strategic, independent thinker with strong judgment, adept at managing ambiguity and leading complex initiatives in our fast-evolving specialty pharmaceutical environment.
What You'll Do
- Lead the regional execution of HS marketing solutions in alignment with global strategy, ensuring measurable business impact across Europe.
- Collect, analyze, and synthesize cross-European market insights, including competitive intelligence, to inform regional and global strategy.
- Define three-year HS strategic priorities and annual marketing objectives in collaboration with the six iEU Areas and the iEU Dermatology team.
- Support iEU Areas in implementing the HS strategy and customer engagement model, working closely with peer marketing colleagues across the dermatology portfolio.
- Drive HS contributions to the iEU Immunology Integrated Strategic Plan (ISP) and track delivery against agreed KPIs.
- Ensure organizational readiness by guiding iEU colleagues and Area teams on HS scientific data, marketing objectives, and positioning.
- Lead regional omnichannel communication strategy for HS, ensuring content consistency and alignment with portfolio principles.
- Foster strong relationships with key external stakeholders, including KOLs, scientific associations, and patient groups.
What We're Looking For
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in healthcare sales, marketing, market access, or field medical roles within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Proven experience in specialty pharmaceuticals or biologics, ideally at European or multi-country level, within matrix organizations.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience, including indirect or cross-functional team leadership.
- Solid understanding of the full pharmaceutical value chain, including development, commercialization, and supply.
- Experience in omnichannel and digital marketing strategies.
- Ability to translate strategy into outcomes-focused execution.
- Skilled at synthesizing market dynamics and stakeholder insights as basis for brand planning.
- Customer focus with ability to foster strong relationships internally and externally.
Nice to Have
- Advanced university degree (Bachelor’s or Master’s preferred); medical or scientific background is an advantage.
- Strong expertise in dermatology marketing with demonstrated success in product launches and/or growth phases.
Team & Environment
You will work in close collaboration with the iEU Dermatology team, the six iEU Area organizations, the Global Asset team, and cross-functional partners across medical, market access, immunology operations, and patient experience. You will also engage with business partners across Competitive Intelligence, Insights, Analytics, and Clearance functions.
