Groupe Rocher is hiring a Manufacturing Manager to lead the production operations for a skincare manufacturing plant. Reporting to the Head of Production Unit, you will be responsible for the daily performance of a dedicated team, ensuring the plant meets its production, quality, and safety goals.
What You'll Do
- Pilot the manufacturing workshop, ensuring respect for production schedules, quality standards, and hygiene/safety protocols.
- Guarantee a positive social climate and manage individual and collective conflicts within your team.
- Optimize production processes using Lean Management principles within a demanding GMP-standard environment.
- Participate in workshop improvement initiatives and investment projects.
- Contribute to budget management and site labor relations.
- Lead cross-functional projects such as machine investments, ERP implementations, and workshop reorganizations.
- Potentially support the Head of Production Unit in the overall management of the 250-person site.
What We're Looking For
- An Engineering degree in Chemistry, Process Engineering, or a Generalist field, or a Master's degree.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in industrial production, ideally within the Cosmetics, Pharmaceutical, or Food industries.
- Mastery of industrial flows and practical experience with transformation processes like mixing and tank operations.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate teams.
Team & Environment
You will directly manage a team of 30 people, including operators and technicians, and report to the Head of Production Unit.
Work Mode
This is an onsite position located at our production facility in Rieux (56).
