PCX Corporation is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer responsible for designing, developing, and improving manufacturing processes, systems, and methods. This role focuses on optimizing production, enhancing product quality, and ensuring efficient, cost-effective operations.
What You'll Do
- Develop, evaluate, and improve manufacturing methods by applying engineering and LEAN principles.
- Analyze work force utilization, space requirements, and workflow to design equipment layouts for maximum efficiency.
- Confer with planning and design staff on product design and tooling to ensure efficient production.
- Study specifications and blueprints, conferring with engineering and shop personnel to resolve design problems.
- Prepare tool and fixture concepts, coordinate reviews, and develop detailed CAD drawings.
- Confer with vendors to arrange purchases and evaluate products against specifications and quality standards.
- Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to inform management decisions.
- Apply statistical methods to estimate future manufacturing requirements and potential.
- Evaluate product lines and recommend changes in production methods, materials, and design to optimize throughput, quality, and cost.
- Troubleshoot equipment during downtime and collaborate with maintenance teams.
- Provide input to safety committees, Lean Manufacturing Teams, and other cross-functional groups.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (General, Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical) or a related field.
- 3-6 years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience.
- Experience with CAD/CAM software, such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience with project management and the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.

- Salary: $105,000 - $120,000 annually.
