The Boeing Company is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer to support the Platform Systems organization within Boeing Defense & Space. In this role, you will develop manufacturing plans, resolve technical problems, and implement lean principles for current and emerging Air Dominance products, including the F-15EX Eagle, F/A-18 Super Hornet, and T-7A Redhawk.

What You'll Do

Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies.
Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to integrate technical solutions across multiple disciplines.
Develop, identify, and implement conceptual designs while maintaining the program architecture for build.
Lead and implement manufacturing plans.
Conduct producibility and variation analyses to ensure manufacturing process capability matches requirements.
Assist in providing producibility information for inclusion in project plans and help document best practices.
Analyze design/build concepts to evaluate producible design/build definitions.
Resolve technical problems of significant impact to performance, cost, or schedule.
Coordinate and implement new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies, and concepts.
Validate and ensure production readiness of solutions to complex problems.
Implement lean principles and technologies.
Review design requirements and approve new releases and revisions to existing designs.
Review and implement non-conformance requirements into shop floor work orders and supplier specifications.
Translate design requirements (EBOM) into Manufacturing Bill of Materials (MBOM) to create and maintain part demand.

What We're Looking For

A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, or equivalent.
5+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent combination of experience and technical education.
Experience using MESci, NX / Teamcenter, and familiarity with reading 2-D drawings.

Nice to Have

A Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical, or Material Sciences.
Manufacturing Engineering experience on military or commercial aircraft.

Compensation Range: Level 3: $103,700 - $140,300; Level 4: $126,650 - $171,350.
