Dana Incorporated is looking for a Co-Op Intern Trainee to contribute to the revolution of transportation technology through embedded systems programming and motor control. In this role, you will work on critical systems for motor control, vehicles, and power generation within a dynamic, growing company culture that fosters creativity, innovation, and personal impact.
What You'll Do
- Program critical embedded systems in the field of motor control, vehicles, and power generation.
- Integrate and debug control algorithms, servomechanisms, and simulations.
- Analyze electrical and electronic circuits both schematically and practically.
- Execute validation and verification of design on products.
- Document your work effectively.
- Participate in design reviews.
- Perform all other related tasks as required.
What We're Looking For
- Current student in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or an equivalent field.
- Hands-on experience programming in C and C++.
- Experience with software development tools such as GIT, Azure DevOps, Enterprise Architect (UML), and JIRA.
- Familiarity with 32-bit microcontrollers from Infineon, TI, ARM, or similar.
- Experience with tools including a JTAG debugger and Oscilloscope.
- A proactive and autonomous working style.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated capacity to document work clearly.
- Mastery of French and English, both spoken and written.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Matlab/Simulink is considered an asset.
