Responsibilities
- Analyze and configure APS system parameters to support production planning
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to gather process requirements
- Troubleshoot system issues and implement corrective actions
- Maintain data integrity across APS and integrated platforms
- Support monthly and quarterly production planning cycles
- Develop reports and dashboards for planning performance metrics
- Work with IT to ensure system upgrades are implemented smoothly
- Participate in testing new APS functionality and enhancements
- Document system configurations and process workflows
- Assist in training planners and engineers on APS tools
- Monitor planning accuracy and recommend process improvements
- Integrate shop floor feedback into system adjustments
- Coordinate with supply chain for material availability inputs
- Validate scheduling logic against real-world production constraints
- Support root cause analysis for planning discrepancies
- Ensure compliance with internal data governance policies
- Assist in annual system audit preparations
- Liaise with vendors for technical support and best practices
- Evaluate new planning technologies and methodologies
- Drive standardization of APS practices across sites
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in manufacturing planning or scheduling
- Proven experience with APS software such as SAP APO, Oracle APS, or similar
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and production flow
- Proficiency in data analysis using Excel or SQL
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly in manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of supply chain planning principles
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing concepts
- Ability to interpret technical documentation and schematics
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Project management experience preferred
- Experience in high-volume production settings
- Understanding of capacity planning and resource leveling
- Background in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing is a plus
- Certification in APS or supply chain management is advantageous
- Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy standards
- Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Willingness to adapt to changing business needs

- Experience with SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
