Responsibilities
- Design and execute manual test cases for web and mobile applications
- Identify, document, and track software defects using issue management tools
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand requirements
- Verify bug fixes and ensure resolved issues meet acceptance criteria
- Participate in requirement reviews to provide early quality feedback
- Maintain up-to-date test documentation and test case repositories
- Perform regression testing across multiple product versions
- Validate functionality across different browsers and devices
- Assist in defining acceptance criteria for user stories
- Support continuous integration by reporting test results promptly
- Contribute to test planning and test strategy discussions
- Ensure compliance with defined quality standards and processes
- Perform exploratory testing to uncover edge-case issues
- Monitor application behavior in staging environments
- Report on testing progress and quality metrics to stakeholders
- Collaborate with automation teams to identify candidates for automated tests
- Stay current with testing best practices and tools
- Verify localization and internationalization features when applicable
- Test API responses manually using testing tools
- Assist in preparing release notes and quality summaries
- Participate in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups and retrospectives
- Escalate critical issues that impact release timelines
- Ensure test environments mirror production configurations
- Validate data integrity across system integrations
- Support user acceptance testing when required
