HII, a global all-domain defense provider, is hiring a Manager, Information Technology to join its Business Transformation and Technology team. This first-level manager will lead a team of agile coaches and practitioners, playing a central role in the company’s ongoing agile transformation. The ideal candidate will be a galvanizing leader focused on fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
What You'll Do
- Manage and lead a team of agile coaches and practitioners.
- Play an integral role in the agile transformation journey.
- Oversee a team that integrates with various IT disciplines to drive agility and structure.
- Hire, manage, train, coach, and develop personnel.
- Work at strategic and tactical levels to grow the DevOps culture.
- Create an atmosphere that fosters continuous improvement and creative problem solving.
What We're Looking For
- A Bachelor’s Degree and 6 years of progressive technical experience in research, engineering and design; or a Master’s Degree and 4 years of relevant experience. For Information Technology positions only, equivalent education or experience may substitute, including NNS Apprentice School graduate, NNPS graduate, Associate’s Degree with 2 years exempt experience, military experience (E-5 or above), or High School/GED with 4-8 years of relevant trade or military experience.
- Proven leadership, managerial, analytical, and administrative skills.
- Strong communication skills and a robust working knowledge of agile principles, processes, and techniques.
- Applicable agile certifications are required.
Team & Environment
This position reports directly to the Manager of ERP Process Standardization & Integration and involves leading a team focused on integrating agile practices across IT disciplines.
