ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER
We require a dedicated professional capable of utilizing expertise to advance our Environmental Health and Safety initiatives within a dynamic, unprecedented operational landscape.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Manager will:
• Oversee day-to-day and long-term EHS team activities, comprising technicians, specialists, and engineers
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure comprehensive EHS integration in departmental planning
- Represent EHS department in organization-wide management meetings
- Provide strategic guidance on job assignments and procedural implementation
- Ensure mission alignment across team objectives and tasks
• Implement comprehensive occupational safety protocols consistent with OSHA standards
• Develop and maintain site-specific environmental policies addressing:
- Hazardous and non-hazardous waste management
- Air permitting
- Spill prevention/response
- Storm water management
- Waste water processes
• Serve as primary liaison with local resource agencies
BASIC REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years designing, developing, and operationally overseeing EHS disciplines
• 3+ years EHS management experience
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering emphasizing occupational health/safety
• Aerospace industry experience
• Experience leading EHS engineering teams
• Proven occupational safety program implementation
• Advanced NEPA knowledge
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Requires local Redmond, WA relocation
• Occasional extended/weekend work availability
• Subject to pre-employment and random drug/alcohol screening
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range: $150,000.00 - $190,000.00/annually
